While the art market is fairly blurred, art is an asset, and therefore it is important to ascertain its value. A qualified appraisal and updated values are important elements for ensuring that your collection will be protected.
As an accredited member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) and appointed expert and appraiser of the Chamber of Commerce in Milan, I have extensive experience in appraising individual works and entire collections, and I adhere to a strict Code of Ethics which ensures unparalleled standards of ethics, conduct, and professionalism.
I provide appraisal services for private collectors, heirs, estates, institutions, attorneys and fiduciaries, for insurance, charitable contributions, estate planning, and estate tax, damage and loss, equitable distribution, art as collateral.
I also offer an annual updating service ensuring that an appraisal remains current without the need for regular revisions.
I comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the International Valuation Standards (IVS). These standards are set forth by the Appraisal Foundation and The International Valuation Standards Council as a source of appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications.
The USPAP and the IVS are universally accepted and ensure the competence of appraisers valuation services, independently, impartially, and objectively.
